Stuart, Florida: The City of Stuart is located on South Dixie Highway (Highway 1) along the St. Lucie River, west of the Indian River. Stuart situated along Florida's East Coast, nearly all of Florida's attractions are within a few hours' drive, including Orlando (130 miles), West Palm Beach (40 miles), Miami (100 miles) and Cape Canaveral (90 miles). Not only will this be a first-class destination for boating week-enders, but the anchorage will play a crucial role in helping clean up the St. Lucie River Estuary. Known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” Stuart is famous for its sailfish and all other types of sport fishing. Sportsmen can enjoy ocean fishing, river and bay fishing and/or fresh-water fishing.
