Real estate options in Stuart consist of single-family homes, condominiums and townhouses as well as land lots. Known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World,” Stuart is famous for its sailfish and all other types of sport fishing. Sportsmen can enjoy ocean fishing, river and bay fishing and/or fresh-water fishing.

The city's successful revitalization program has given the Potsdam section of the downtown area a pleasant ambiance with new, refurbished shops and restaurants. North of the new Roosevelt Bridge is the Evans Crary Bridge, which leads to Stuart's Public Beaches. Additionally, a new anchorage featuring a managed mooring field with 69 permanent mooring buoys, a Harbormaster's Facility featuring a ship's store, day-lounge, rest rooms, bathing facilities and a laundromat are being built. The entire operation will be supervised by the city's Harbormaster. Not only will this be a first-class destination for boating week-enders, but the anchorage will play a crucial role in helping clean up the St. Lucie River Estuary.
