Stuart, Florida: The city of Stuart is located on South Dixie Highway (Highway 1) along the St. Lucie River, west of the Indian River. Stuart is situated along Florida's East Coast with nearly all of Florida's attractions being just a few hours’ drive away. Additionally, a new anchorage featuring a managed mooring field with 69 permanent mooring buoys, a Harbormaster's Facility featuring a ship's store, day-lounge, rest rooms, bathing facilities and a laundromat are being built. The entire operation will be supervised by the city's Harbormaster. Not only will this be a first-class destination for boating week-enders, but the anchorage will play a crucial role in helping clean up the St. Lucie River Estuary.
